The Voodoo Blues strives to bring the joy, rhythm and musical virtuosity of New Orleans to every foot stompin', hand clappin' show! Specializing in NOLA style Blues, Soul, Funk and Jazz from artists and influences like Dr. John, The Meters, Tab Benoit, Papa Grows Funk and The Neville Brothers, The Voodoo Blues bring the Big Easy beat to songs from Bourbon street and beyond. A typical show includes these favorites as well as Nola-fied Pop hits, upbeat Blues, 60's Motown and Stax Soul, driving Southern Rock and their own original material. The Voodoo Blues performs in groups as small as a trio to include piano, bass and drums, to a 6 piece powerhouse with a horn section, guitar and harmonica.
